David Ritter
David Ritter is the CEO of Greenpeace Australia Pacific. He leads the talented and determined team at Greenpeace Australia Pacific on the mission to secure an Earth capable of nurturing life in all of its magnificent diversity.

Kate Smolski
Kate Smolski is the Program Director of Greenpeace Australia Pacific where her responsibilities encompass the planning, design and delivery of GPAP’s program of campaigns, communications, actions, investigations and field activities.

Luke Edwards
Luke leads our devoted Fundraising and Technology department and joined Greenpeace in 2016 after stints at Amnesty International, Fairfax Media and The Guardian. He is passionate about people working together to create positive change and make a green and peaceful future.
The Board of Directors of Greenpeace Australia Pacific consists of independent non-executive directors.

Glenn Walker is a seasoned climate and environmental advocate, with over 15 years experience spanning the fields of the energy sector, offshore and onshore oil and gas exploitation, deforestation, land restoration, river protection, Indigenous conservation, and protected area creation and management.

Legal Team

Katrina Bullock – General Counsel
Katrina has served as General Counsel at Greenpeace Australia Pacific since 2018. She shares responsibility for the legal, governance and integrity functions and leads the charity’s strategic climate litigation work.
In 2020 she was awarded the Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 Corporate Counsel (SME) Award. She began her career as a commercial lawyer at a top tier Australian law firm, before moving in house within the tech and environment industries. She is a passionate advocate for human rights, movement lawyering and climate justice.

Brooke Dellavedova – General Counsel
Brooke has been one of our General Counsel at Greenpeace Australia Pacific for the past 2 years and shares responsibility for legal, governance and integrity functions.
Before joining Greenpeace, she spent over 20 years conducting large-scale class actions for breaches of the Corporations Law, anti-competitive conduct, negligence and product liability. She was a Partner of a major law firm for over 10 years, and has experience in audit, risk, IT and NFP governance.
Brooke is about to complete her Masters in Environmental Law, and is a graduate of the AICD directors course.
She is passionate about social justice, and particularly the protection of our environment and women’s justice. She has been a guest lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Victoria University and University of New South Wales and has published work on class actions and environmental and competition law.

Kate heads up Greenpeace’s high impact media and communications team. With over a decade of experience working in the environment and human rights sectors, Kate has held a range of roles including communications, campaigns and strategy and loves brainstorming big, creative ideas and tactics to engage people in the climate crisis.
