Have you ever used a REVERSE vending machine? Here’s your chance!

Incredible news! NSW Premier Mike Baird has officially launched a Container Deposit Scheme for NSW. At an event at Coogee Beach over the weekend, the Premier announced the roll out of 800 reverse vending machines.

This means that NSW residents will be rewarded for returning bottles to hundreds of reverse vending machines from July 2017! The container deposit scheme is estimated to generate $65 million a year for schools and charities.

The scheme was welcomed by the Boomerang Alliance which has been campaigning for a CDS in NSW for over a decade.
