Big Gas Is Destroying our planet
Big Gas is holding Australia's economy hostage for their own profit — and they’re destroying the nature and oceans we love in the process.
Wherever gas is burned, people pay the price – breathing polluted air, paying high prices, and experiencing worsening climate disasters, like bushfires and floods.
Sign now to tell the Prime Minister to stand up to Big Gas.
Tell Albo to Stop Big Gas
Prime Minister Albanese, we are calling on you to:
- Put communities before corporate profits, by keeping the gas currently drilled in Australia for short term domestic use.
- Uphold your climate commitments: stop approving new projects that drive dangerous climate change when we have enough gas already.
- End the free-ride and tax gas companies properly so that they can cover the costs of the damage they cause.

GAS IS A CLIMATE DESTROYER
Multinational gas corporations like Woodside and Santos are polluting our air and oceans and fuelling climate change.
Gas is a dirty, expensive and unreliable fossil fuel. It will lock us into decades of climate pollution, while its extraction threatens vulnerable ecosystems.
Will you help push the Australian Government to break free from Big Gas' dirty influence?

We're Taking On The Gas Lobby
Big Gas is a powerful network of companies, lobbyists and industry groups who are working hard to protect their profits and keep Australia and the world hooked on their dirty gas.
To undermine their power, we're standing up to powerful lobby groups, like the Business Council of Australia (BCA) and Australian Energy Producers (AEP), who are promoting more gas expansion and blocking climate action.
Corporations in the BCA like Telstra, Bupa, and NAB have strong climate commitments on the surface, but continue to remain silent while the BCA advocates for more gas.
We need corporations and the government alike to stand up to Big Gas and support the transition away from fossil fuels so we can uphold our international climate commitments.
AUSTRALIA IS THE WORLD'S THIRD LARGEST FOSSIL FUEL EXPORTER
Ordinary people are paying more for energy than ever before, while Big Gas gets a free ride.
Australia's gas corporations export around 80% of our gas overseas for massive profit. Meanwhile everyday people pay the price with soaring energy bills, and climate disasters like floods and fires.
We don’t need more gas – we have the renewable energy solutions we need and more than enough gas for Australian communities and businesses. As one of the sunniest, windiest countries in the world, Australia can be a global leader in green industry and exports, all without destroying the planet.
It’s time to say no to new gas projects. This is simply not a "nice to have" - it's a matter of preserving the future of our planet.
