Journey For Justice follows law student and activist Anjali Sharma as she travels across the Pacific on Greenpeace's iconic ship, the Rainbow Warrior, to hear from those most impacted by climate change. The documentary showcases how powerful activists across the globe are using the law to hold big polluters to account.

Shiva Gounden
(Head of Pacific, Greenpeace Australia Pacific)
Shiva is a humanitarian and environmental advocate and activist, currently the Head of Pacific at Greenpeace Australia Pacific with over 20 years of experience in the field. He has dedicated his career to working with marginalised communities across the world, particularly children and women, in conflict zones and humanitarian disaster areas.

Anjali Sharma
(Activist, Law Student)
Anjali Sharma (she/her) is 19 years old. At 16, she became the lead litigant of Sharma vs Environment Minister, a class action legal case which argued that the Environment Minister owes all young people a duty of care to protect them from the impacts of climate change.

Uncle Paul Kabai
(Traditional Owner, Saibai, Torres Strait)
Uncle Paul is a Guda Maluyligal man and a Traditional Owner of the island of Saibai also at the topmost part of Australia, just 4km off the mainland coast of PNG. He is a member of the Umay (oo-meye) clan and a Director of the Prescribed Body Corporate which represents the 7 clans on the island.

Uncle Pabai Pabai
(Traditional Owner, Boigu, Torres Strait)
Uncle Pabai is a Guda Maluyligal man and a Traditional Owner of the island of Boigu which is 6kms from the coastline of PNG. Pabai is a part of the Koedal (Kuh-dahl) clan and has five daughters and two sons. He has lived on Boigu his whole life, and is a Director on the Prescribed Body Corporate that represents the 6 clans on the island.

Marinel Ubaldo
(Climate Activist, Philippines)
Marinel is a dedicated advocate for climate justice and the environment. Marinel's dedication to effecting change extends beyond speaking engagements and advocacy work. Her campaign with Amnesty International, calling for the Philippine government to relocate survivors of Super-Typhoon Haiyan, obtained 528,070 actions from individuals worldwide.

Vishal Prasad
Co-host (Campaign Director, PISFCC)
Vishal is from Fiji and has graduated from The University of the South Pacific with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Law. He has been part of the ICJ advisory opinion campaign for more than 3 years and is keen on seeing its success and the campaign journey continue. He is very passionate about human rights and believes that the ICJAO campaign has the potential to break the deadlock on ambitious climate action globally.

David Ritter
(CEO and Facilitator, Greenpeace Australia Pacific)
David is CEO of Greenpeace Australia Pacific, and took on this role after five years working as an oceans campaigner with Greenpeace in London. Prior to joining Greenpeace, he worked as an academic and a lawyer in both commercial and native title practices. David is a widely published commentator on politics, law, history and current affairs.
