Digital Conversion Specialist

Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) is an independent campaigning organisation, which uses peaceful, creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems, and develop solutions for a green and peaceful future. 

THE TEAM

This role sits within our Fundraising and Technology department and reports directly to our Head of Digital Growth. Working closely with contractors, interns and volunteers.

THE ROLE

An exciting newly created opportunity to be based in Australia or Aotearoa (New Zealand)! This unique 12 month contract will play a key role in the optimisation of Greenpeace’s digital experiences and journeys, creating a seamless online experience. You will play a lead role across the entire global Greenpeace network, supporting better decision-making around digital engagement and digital fundraising. 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

With a genuine passion for the work of Greenpeace and our supporters, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, inquisitive and analytical. You will have a proactive approach to problem-solving and strong prioritization and time management skills. Excellent communication skills and proven success coordinating teams and managing diverse stakeholders is an absolute must!

Knowledge:

  • Experience with CIVIS, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce/Marketing Cloud and/or equivalent products 
  • A supporter first mindset with a strong understanding of how to apply user behaviour insights to improve supporter experiences and conversion rates
  • High level of computer literacy 
  • Proven experience in developing online journeys and experiences for digital marketing or digital fundraising outcomes 
  • Data analysis experience 
  • Experience conducting user research, both qualitative and quantitative 
  • Experience analysing website data to understand user behaviour, identify insights and opportunities 

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a conversion rate optimisation or other relevant marketing/UX role with proven uplift in supporter/membership growth 
  • 2-3 years of experience coordinating teams and/or projects 
  • Certification or equivalent experience in Marketing, User Experience, User Behaviour, Research or Human Centered Design 
  • Certification or equivalent experience in Google Analytics and A/B testing/multivariate testing tools (e.g. Google Optimize)

Annual Salary: $91,080.39 + super
