We’re looking for rock stars who thrive in fast paced environments to take our video
and content creation to the next level. This role will give you the opportunity to produce incredible and
exciting pieces of work – all aimed at making this world a better place.
This is a fantastic opportunity for people looking to use their design and/or video
editing skills to create high engagement, conversation-starting social media and web content to fight the worst
impacts of climate change, hold big polluters and governments to account, save the world’s forests, oceans and
There is a preferred time commitment of 2 days per week for 3 months (with continuation a possibility).
This position would suit a final year design student or someone looking to refine
their junior to intermediate level multimedia and design skills and is comfortable working remotely.
- Creating, compiling and curating engaging content
including text, images and videos, and creating macros for Greenpeace’s social media channels;
- Keeping up to date with fast-developing campaigns
developments and helping to develop new content in support;
- Identifying opportunities to create evergreen
content from Greenpeace’s media library, and test new content strategies that focus on engagement and
We are looking for individuals with:
- A strong understanding and belief that great
content can change real world outcomes, while being respectful and celebrating the plethora of voices in
the Greenpeace community across Australia and the Pacific;
- Graphic design and/or video editing skills, with
significant Adobe Creative Cloud suite experience;
- Experience with writing engaging and inspiring
content for digital audiences;
- Great digital communication skills and a good
understanding of social media or online community building;
- The ability to work under time pressure and
solving problems creatively and independently if needed.
