Greenpeace is Under Attack!

Greenpeace International and Greenpeace in the US have been ordered to pay a shocking $345 million USD to Energy Transfer.

Big Oil is trying to silence the climate movement — and the truth. We refuse to remain silent. We will continue to resist Big Oil all the way to victory.

With your help, we can resist Big Oil.

This isn’t the first time Greenpeace has had to stare down a cynical SLAPP suit like this. Big Oil companies like Shell, Total, and ENI have also filed SLAPP suits against other Greenpeace entities in recent years. When AGL came after Greenpeace Australia Pacific in 2021, we were overwhelmingly successful in defending that case.

We will not be Silenced!

Greenpeace has been around for 50 years. We have been bombed, sued, shot at, mocked, arrested, insulted and laughed at. But in that time, we do what we do. We have secured monumental environmental wins all over the world.

UPDATE:

Greenpeace in the US has already announced that it will be appealing the decision, and Greenpeace International has brought a lawsuit against Energy Transfer in the Netherlands to counter this SLAPP suit.

Javier Bardem and Yasmin Finney have joined forces with the Greenpeace network to expose this playbook of intimidation. We aren’t just defending a movement; we are defending our collective right to resist.

We refuse to remain silent. We will continue to resist Big Oil all the way to victory.
