It’s no secret that the Great Barrier Reef is a beautiful place. People come from all around the world to Australia to experience the Reef – snorkelling and diving deep below its surface to see its beauty with their own eyes.

But the Great Barrier Reef is changing. In the last 30 years, 50% of the Reef’s coral cover has disappeared. And now, the Australian government want to go ahead with a disastrous proposal to dredge millions of tonnes of seafloor in our Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.

We can’t let that happen. Take a look at the majestic and intricate beauties of the Great Barrier Reef captured by photographer and marine biologist Daniel Stoupin – and sign the petition to make sure this beautiful underwater life is protected for good.

What can you do to protect this beautiful place?

UNESCO delegates meet in just days in Bonn, Germany to decide what to do about the Great Barrier Reef’s World Heritage status, under threat from a new coal mine and ports.

We can sit back and watch the destruction of one of the natural Wonders of the World. Or we can rise together, stand up and say, ‘sorry, not on our watch.’ Add your name to this planet-wide petition now.
