demand strong nature protection this election
Our national environment laws are broken, and do not stop the destruction of our irreplaceable natural world by fossil fuel companies and other big businesses. This has been apparent in recent weeks, when mining lobbyists were found to have pressured the Government to abandon long-awaited nature law reform.
Vested interests want to continue getting away with damaging our pristine environment without scrutiny. But we love nature and want to see it protected.
We want and deserve elected leaders who will heed the science, stand up to vested interests, and act decisively to protect nature.
Tell your local politicians that you won't vote for anything less than strong nature protection this election.
Australia is one of the sunniest, windiest places in the world. It could be a world leader on clean energy - if only Woodside wasn’t standing in the way.
Email your local MP and tell them you want a clean energy future, not Woodside’s dirty gas. State and Federal MPs have the power to stop Woodside - but they won’t act unless we let them know how we feel.

3 asks for strong Nature protection
- Halt deforestation: Australia remains a global deforestation hotspot, driving species to extinction.
- Embed climate considerations into the approvals process: Dangerous climate change is a major threat to nature in Australia and barely mentioned in our laws.
- Setup the highest standard of integrity for environmental decision-making: The current national environmental regulatory framework has failed and severely lacks integrity.
