Thank you friend. You helped make 2025 epic
Every action you’ve taken or donation generously given is helping to create a greener and more peaceful planet now and in the future.
Together we achieved some massive wins!

A breakthrough victory for Australia’s forests was achieved with the nature law reforms. You helped close the deforestation loopholes which have allowed forests to be bulldozed for the last 25 years. Now the homes of koalas and quolls will be protected, and it’s thanks to people like you.

You helped demand global ocean protection, and now we have it - the Global Ocean Treaty will soon be in force! This landmark UN Treaty establishes a legal framework to protect marine biodiversity in international waters (high seas) and will allow for the creation of large-scale marine protected areas (MPAs). Greenpeace has been campaigning for 20 years alongside people like you to secure this outcome. Thank you!

You helped take climate justice to the world’s highest court — and it worked. The International Court of Justice has delivered a landmark Advisory Opinion on States’ climate obligations. It found that government actions driving climate change — including fossil fuel expansion, consumption and subsidies/ exploration — could be illegal, and that states may be required to cut emissions and compensate vulnerable nations harmed by it. This historic Pacific-led campaign reached this moment because people like you stood behind it.

“Campaigning costs money. Without support from donors we cannot go out to sea and expose the harm being done to the ocean and marine life around the world. Thank you so much for your support”
Daniel, Captain of Rainbow Warrior

Honouring history, Deepening solidarity

With your support, we returned to the Marshall Islands and were welcomed like family. Across the atolls touched by decades of nuclear testing. Forty years ago, Greenpeace answered a call for help from Rongelap, evacuating hundreds to safety when no one else would. This time around we shared stories, laughter, and grief with elders, chiefs, and children — learning from their resilience, courage, and hope. Together, we carried history forward, deepened bonds, and stood in solidarity for justice, climate action, and a future shaped by the people who call these islands home.
Turning Evidence into Action
We released a groundbreaking report, the “Power Shift” which proves WA does not need any new gas arguing that together, it is possible for us to create an energy future that aligns with a 1.5C emissions pathway. Reports like this allow Greenpeace to engage and provide decision makers with the critical information they need to make decisions and build momentum on clean energy.

"Their non-violence, their courage - always watching, always reporting ...their work is unceasing and they do it on behalf of us all. They give our poor battered planet a voice"
Maxine Godley, Donor and Green Guardian
