Posted on July 31, 2009 by Greenpeace Australia Pacific

Tonight, the winner of the inaugural Greenpeace Design Awards will be announced at a presentation ceremony in Adelaide. We had an overwhelming response to our call for poster designs that deliver the message ‘Be a Part of the Action’ – 1500 creatives from 77 different countries.

Judges shortlisted 29 finalists, which will be exhibited at the ceremony. Here are the finalists.

Amazing project Greenpeace, thanks for sharing the finalists. Talena Jones, your picture stands out the most for me. In my eyes, you are my favourite entrant! Love the quote and the picture is quite different. Spencer Harrison, I like it very much. Ricky Cinglung Sutaner, amazing idea love it. Michal Sek, Wow! is what I said when I saw your work. Amazing interpretation of man’s greed and involvement in the dirty coal industry etc. Very inspiring work from the finalists, what amazing talent we have in Australia. Keep going and creating…
